Some exciting, free events are coming up, and parents will want to mark their calendars! 

Organizations from across the county, including the Marcellus Township Wood Memorial Library, the Van Buren/ Cass County District Health Department, First 10, Marcellus Community Schools, and the Heritage Southwest Intermediate School District, have come together to host Dinosaur Encounters by Feller Express and to provide health services for area families.

The engaging, interactive event will be held in the Marcellus High School gym, from noon to 1:00 pm., on June 14.  It will feature huge, life size dinosaurs, giveaways, and tons of free resources!  While there, participants can take advantage of free hearing, vision, and dental screenings, get general service information, and engage in nutrition-themed activities.  The event promises to be fun, informative, and engaging for children of all ages.   

Another free event will take place at Marcellus High School, on August 7, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Don’t miss the United Way’s annual School Supply Spectacular which provides free backpacks and school supplies to area children.  Online pre-registration begins June 24, and is required.  To pre-register, please visit School Supply Spectacular or text 41444 to be directed to the registration page.
