Quiz Bowl Students Compete in State Championship
This year, Marcellus High School was invited to participate in the Class C/D State Championships for the first time in many years. Team captain, Leyton T. was supported by fellow senior, Cole M., and juniors, Hunter C. and Olivia P., as they competed at Michigan State University on Saturday against fellow academically-gifted students. It was an exciting new experience for the students, and inspired in the younger students a desire to work hard next year to earn an invitation again. Congratulations on all your hard work, Team!

April is Testing Month
It is imperative that your student is in school and on time on the testing dates listed above. Letters were sent home with testing information in March. If your student has a scheduled appointment on a mandatory date, please reschedule. Students who are late will not be permitted to test on that day. It is essential students are well-rested and well-nourished so that they can perform their best. Please contact the office with any questions.

MHS Sophomores Visit Southwestern Michigan College
MHS sophomores had the opportunity to tour the campus of Southwestern Michigan College with Mrs. Kulka this week! Our students walked the campus, learned about future academic opportunities, extracurricular offerings and SMC even provided lunch for them! This visit was followed by a guest speaker who shared further information about additional program offerings. Many thanks to Mrs. Kulka for organizing this event for our students!

AFTER SCHOOL
MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY UNTIL 4:00PM.
STUDENTS CAN USE THIS TIME TO GET EXTRA HELP ON ASSIGNMENTS AND FINISH CLASSWORK.
THERE IS NO HOMEWORK HOUR ON HALF DAYS.
Students may drop in, but are required to stay the entire hour.
