Winter Homecoming 2025 is in the books.  It’s safe to say that the Marcellus High School student body had a great week of fun-filled activities and competitions, including a staff versus students basketball competition, poster competitions, and an exciting pep assembly.  The week ended with the crowning of the homecoming princess and queen and big wins in the Friday night games.  The varsity Ladycats were victorious, 51-32, and the boys’ varsity bested the Bangor Vikings 80-47.

At the homecoming game, the stands were filled with orange and black and much school spirit!  The cheerleaders pumped up the crowd, and Beau Ferguson was named Mr. Basketball, and Sophia Affriseo was awarded the title of Ms. Basketball.

The homecoming court was presented at halftime and included: Elin Essex, freshman class, escorted by Dallis Stainbrook; Payton Kreuger, sophomore class, escorted by Abram Coffey; Ariah Evans, junior class, escorted by David Coertse-Bradshaw; Layna Cardella, senior class, escorted by Micah Gooden; Ava Daniels, senior class, escorted by Tim Henseler; and Lyssa Robson, senior class, escorted by Yona Goodlow.  Congratulations to Homecoming Princess Elin Essex and Homecoming Queen Lyssa Robson and to the entire homecoming court.

Thanks for a great homecoming, Marcellus!
