Important Notice for Middle School Parents and Guardians:
With the exception of the first day of school, all sixth grade students will start their day at the middle school and end their school day at the elementary or high school (computers at the elementary and band at the high school).  Alternatively, with the exception of the first day of school, all seventh and eighth grade students will attend their first hour exploratory period at the high school and end their school day at the middle school.

New for this school year, parents whose child(ren) will ride the school bus to or from school are asked to complete the online transportation form.

Parents who have questions or need information about bus routes may contact the transportation office at 646-5981 or email tim.schuur@marcelluscs.org

Communication

Marcellus Community Schools will continue to use a phone alert system to notify parents of school closings, delays or emergencies.   In order for the system to be effective, please be sure to provide updated contact information to the appropriate office.

In other news, those who have driven through the high school parking lot in the last few weeks undoubtedly noticed the excavating work that has been done near the secondary parking lot.  As previously reported, the district is pursuing the installation of an agriculture polebarn at that site.  The barn is funded by Career Technical Education (CTE) grant funds and will be used to supplement and expand the middle and high school agriscience and FFA programs.   Installation work will continue throughout the fall.
