Congratulations to Mrs. Ferguson and her first grade students! The group was recently named a Michigan Math Cup Teamwork Award winner. Ferguson’s students met their goal to pass at least thirty math lessons on the Imagine Math platform. To celebrate their accomplishment, the class will have their choice of either an Amazon Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, or Dominos gift card, courtesy of Imagine Learning.
Mark your calendars! Marcellus Elementary will host Kindergarten Round Up on April 18, from 5:30 to 7:00p.m. Meet the excellent Marcellus Elementary kindergarten teachers, tour the school, and learn about the programs available for our youngest Wildcats. For those interested, health department staff will be available for vision, dental, and hearing screenings. Those parents and guardians who have a child that will be age 5 by September 1, 2024 are invited to attend. The event is open for Marcellus residents as well as school of choice applicants. Attendees are asked to bring the child’s birth certificate and immunization record. Please contact the elementary school office at 646-9209 with any questions about Kindergarten Round Up.
Get your spring flowers! The Marcellus High School horticulture class has been busy preparing for the FFA's second annual plant sale. The sale takes place on May 9 & 10, from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. The students have lovely mixed hanging baskets, patio planters, and individual flowers available for purchase. Pick up some flowers to beautify your home and support the high school horticulture and FFA students at the same time!
