Imagine Math is a personalized, adaptive digital tool designed to supplement student learning.  Teachers throughout the Marcellus Community School District have been incorporating the program into their math classroom for the last several years. Students who work in the program are generally expected to spend 45 minutes per week working in individualized math pathways and to complete at least two lessons.

I am pleased to announce that two Marcellus classrooms were recently recognized for their excellent work in achieving benchmarks in Imagine Math’s Michigan Students Love Math contest.  Congratulations to Mrs. Leduc’s fourth grade students and Mr. Mikel’s eighth grade algebra students!   Both classes will receive a fifty dollar e-gift card from Imagine Math to acknowledge their hard work.

In other news, March 28 marks the end of the third marking period. Many thanks to those parents/ guardians who were able to attend last month’s parent-teacher conferences. As a reminder, parents may review their child’s progress in the Powerschool parent portal and contact teachers(s) with any questions.  For login information, please contact your student’s school office.
