Things to know . . .

• Homework hour is at the Middle School Monday-Thursday from 3-4 pm. Homework hour is available to all students and they do not need to sign up in advance
• There will not be homework hour December 17 or 18 due to teacher meetings
• Saturday School is not done in December. The next one is January 10
• MMS Dance Party will be December 12 from 3:00-5:00. The theme is Holiday PJ Party. Students can wear holiday PJs that are school appropriate. However, PJs are not required to attend. Students will be permitted to wear their holiday PJs to school on December 12 as well
• Students will be participating in dress up days December 15-19 as we head toward our holiday break
• School will dismiss for winter break on December 19 at 2:45 (MS)/2:57 (HS/ES) and resumes on January 5, 2026
• First semester ends on January 16, 2026

• Friday (12/12): Pajama Day
• Monday (12/15): Plaid Day
• Tuesday (12/16): Holiday Colors Day
• Wednesday (12/17):  Holiday Headwear
• Thursday (12/18) Holiday Character Day
• Friday (12/19): Pajama Day (RPS Contest)

Friday Fun Days

Students will be given a new missing assignment report each Friday. On Friday, during select elective class times, students who have missing work are sent to work with staff members to complete as much missing work as possible. Missing work needs to be turned in by the end of the school day on Thursday or it will still appear on the missing assignment report. Students can also use this time to get extra help from a teacher. Students who have all their work completed may participate in board games, movies, open gym, and other fun activities their elective teachers dream up for them. Please ask your child if they have any missing assignments and encourage them to complete any they may have. Our goal is to create a culture where all students do all assignments on time. With all of us working together, we can achieve this goal. Friday Fun Days will begin September 12.
