Things to know . . .

• Homework hour is at the Middle School Monday-Thursday from 3-4 pm. Homework hour is available to all students and they do not need to sign up in advance.  
• March 6 Band Festival
• There will not be homework hour March 5, March 6, or March27.
• Candy Bar Fundraiser will begin March 3 (permission slips went home February 28) and will conclude March 24 (all money due at this time).
• March 11 is a half day for students.
• March 14 will be the spring after school Dance Party from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday School is March 22 from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Families will be notified on March 21 if their student needs to attend. Any student may attend Saturday School - it is available to all students.
• March 22 at 7:00 and March 23 at 2:00 is the presentation of Clue by the Marcellus Drama Club. It will be performed at Marcellus High School.
• March 27 is the end of the 3rd quarter marking period.
• March 28-April 6 there is no school for students. Enjoy Spring Break.
• The date for the Marcellus Middle School Farewell Dance will be May 30 from 6:00-8:00.
• 6th Grade Camp will be June 2-5.

Friday Fun Days

Students will be given a new missing assignment report each Friday. On Friday, during select elective class times, students who have missing work are sent to work with staff members to complete as much missing work as possible. Missing work needs to be turned in by the end of the school day on Thursday or it will still appear on the missing assignment report. Students can also use this time to get extra help from a teacher. Students who have all their work completed may participate in board games, movies, open gym, and other fun activities their elective teachers dream up for them. Please ask your child if they have any missing assignments and encourage them to complete any they may have. Our goal is to create a culture where all students do all assignments on time. With all of us working together, we can achieve this goal. Friday Fun Days will begin September 13.
