Note from our Principal –
Hello Marcellus Families,
The 4th quarter will begin on April 8th when we return from Spring Break. I hope that each of you have a wonderful spring break.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION! If you know of a 5-year-old who is looking for an exceptional school experience please have their parents come to Marcellus Elementary on Thursday, April 18th at 5:30pm. They will learn about our kindergarten programs and what needs to be filled out and returned to enroll their child.
April and May bring with them state testing for our 3rd through 5th graders. PLEASE, make sure that your child(ren) is getting enough sleep the night before the test, arrive to school on time so that they can receive an extra delicious hardy hot breakfast from our lunch ladies, and have time to settle into their day before showing the world how smart they are.
In May we will hold our annual Wildcat Walk. More information on the walk will be coming home with each child after spring break. This fundraiser helps us provide our students with extra fun activities throughout the year and keep our Friday Cats Ticket Cart loaded with fun prizes for each child.

If you have a child that is going to require medication, be given during the school day please contact our nurse, Ms. Smith regarding our policy and medication authorization form.
Handwashing (sanitizer) is the Number 1 way to prevent the spread of infection.
Remind your child that when they need to cough to cough into their elbow.
